  • Before VFFS or pouch packaging machines: Delivers product to the forming tube inlet or product hopper of vertical form-fill-seal machines, supporting continuous operation.
  • Before filling equipment: Supplies bulk material to filling hoppers on volumetric or auger-based filling machines.
  • As an auxiliary conveyor in compact factory layouts: In space-constrained facilities, the inclined elevator replaces horizontal conveyor runs by using vertical height to route material efficiently between stations.

When specifying an inclined single-bucket elevator for your packaging line, confirm the following with your supplier:

  • Material type — particle size, density, fragility, moisture content, and stickiness affect bucket design, belt material, and inclination angle.
  • Required lifting height — the vertical distance between the feed point and the discharge point determines the elevator frame length and drive specification.
  • Feeding speed — required throughput (kg/h or units/h) must match the downstream weighing or filling machine’s consumption rate to avoid starvation or overflow.
  • Factory space — available floor footprint and ceiling height constrain the inclination angle and overall elevator geometry.
  • Cleaning requirement — food-grade and pharmaceutical applications may require stainless steel construction, tool-free disassembly, and smooth internal surfaces for washdown cleaning.
  • Connection with other machines — discharge height, chute angle, and outlet dimensions must be matched to the inlet of the downstream weigher, filler, or packaging machine.
